tehishing @ sonic acts 2010
tehishing is a soundtrack for an artificial soul (which the title loosely translates to), the paradoxical construct of virtual environments and digital cultures of which spatial electroacoustic music is an epitomising example. tehishing was composed for the 192-loudspeaker wavefield synthesis system designed by raviv ganchrow, wouter snoei, and jan trutzschler. this presentation of the piece was part of the sonic acts festival in paradiso, amsterdam
