this is a recording of a live coded performance in which supercollider synthdef graphs are evolved in real time imitating the processes of evolution by adaptation and natural selection with gene expression programming. the parameters for synthesis explore the concept of co-speciation: a parallel population of computation functions, which calculate the input arguments for synthesis, is dependent for fitness on cooperation with the synthesis functions.
